Designer played a huge roll in getting our herd to where it is today. He was the most obnoxious buck we have ever owned, but he also made some of the nicest kids we have ever seen. His kids hit the ground with powerhouse chests and presence, no matter what we bred him to.

When we decided we needed another buck, we had a few specific things we were looking for, and more bulk was close to the top of the list. We had a whole pasture full of Designer daughters that were smooth, correct, and long, and we needed a buck that would add size and bulk to them to improve in that next generation. We were lucky, because Cary at Lynx Hollow Boers had just what we needed. "JR" was a year old, and already weighed over 250lbs. He wasn't just fat and fluff either, he was all meat! He truly did not disappoint when it came to his offspring, they are long, thick, and just overall meaty kids!

We had originally planned to sell "Jolly JR", and then opted to prove him out on some of our percentage does. We definently weren't disappointed! These kids hit the ground stout, and grew rapidly.

Valley View Stetson

We originally purchased Stetson to cover our commercial herd for a season & to see what he would produce. We weren't quite ready to add colored genetics into our registered herd, but wanted to dabble in them & see if he was a buck we wanted to use in our registered herd also. After our first season of kids out of the commercial herd, we figured out that "Stetty" definitely put a stamp on his kids with a powerhouse of a chest, length, and great personalities just like their father. We have since used him off & on in our registered herd and have continued to be impressed with his offspring. At this point, he is no longer breeding sound, but he will live out his days of retirement here.

Capriole's Tin Man

Tin Man complimented our Designer daughters perfectly. His kids hit the ground thick and stout. They make up a large part of our current up and coming does. We can't wait to see what they produce in the next generation.

RNSH Hot N' Handsome

Handsome was our first real step up buck. We bred him to all of our original percentage does, and he definently didn't disappoint. He put muscle and bulk on every single kid out of our initial commercial does. The kids were better than anything we'd produced before!
