About Milk-E-Way Farms

Owners - Joyce and Kaarina Scolari

We are a mother daughter team located on the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast in the small town of Coquille. Our goat project initially started as a hobby/4-H project, and then quickly turned into much more.

We run a combination of percentage, purebred, and fullblood stock. Currently our herd consists of about 60 does, 30 yearlings, 1 junior buck, and 2 senior bucks. Over the last few years we have started to focus more on the colored side of our herd, which has been greatly influenced by our two red dappled bucks, HRDR 401K Tribal Tattoo **Ennobled** and MEWF Dancing in Smokey Wranglers.

ABGA HERD

In 2014, we decided that we were ready to step up the quality of our registered herd. We decided to jump into the project head first and purchased RNSH Hot Stuff **Ennobled** from Richard and Sandy at RNSH Boers. Unfortunately shortly after we purchased Hot Stuff he came down with a terrible case of pneumonia and didn't recover. He was replaced by his son RNSH Hot N' Handsome, who was just as special as his dad was. He did exactly what we had hoped and improved our herd greatly. At the end of 2015 we were ready for something a little different and wanted to continue to increase the quality of our herd overall. After a lot of research, we went back to RNSH Boers again and purchased RNSH Designer **Ennobled**. Designer taught us a lot about how obnoxious goats really can be, but he also took our herd to the next level. We had so many Designer daughters, we needed a buck to smooth our herd out, and Capriole's Tin Man did just that! With each generation, we try to improve something the previous generation is lacking. In more recent years we have focused our breeding program on producing colored goats with correct confirmation. It has been a fun project, and always an exciting surprise as you never know what they'll look like when they hit the ground!
